Established in 1985 Waiheke Ready Mix began operations out of a freight yard in Beatty Parade, Surfdale before moving to the existing site in Ostend Road in 1990. Initially operating with F1800 Internationals and a TK Bedford, the vehicle fleet later changed to Hinos.
Waiheke Ready Mix became part of Firth Industries in April 2007 and with four employees is the sole concrete supplier on Waiheke Island.
