Masonry Fences

Firth masonry blocks can be used throughout New Zealand for solid masonry free-standing fences built up to 2m in height. Dependent upon the seismic zone, Firth provide non specific designs using 10, 15, 20 and 25 series masonry blocks.

Tables in the Firth Fence Manual have been prepared by a registered Consulting Engineer and developed in accordance with NZS 4230. Determination of fencing requirement and design suitability should be taken in accordance with seismic zone and design assumptions. The finish of the final fence is flexible; you can simply paint the blocks or, for a seamless finish, choose a plaster finish that complements your home.
