Platinum Homes builds on success of Firth RibRaft®
One of New Zealand’s fastest growing home builders is staking its reputation on the strength of Firth’s Certified RibRaft® floors.
Having constructed hundreds of quality single level brick-and-tile homes all over the North Island, Platinum Homes recently ventured into the South Island in 2007 with its first licensee established in Christchurch. And that’s just the beginning!
New designs are being added to the range all the time. There is now a library of over 1200 plans to choose from. However each home is built to individual requirements, ranging from small to very large homes with floorplates over 500m².
Company director Jim Martin says one of the reasons why Platinum Homes has been so successful is because they only select quality products and construction materials, to ensure customers get the best home possible.
“We use all the well-known brands you can trust. Firth is a name we feel comfortable promoting to our customers. We always build our houses on Firth RibRaft® floors. The system is great, as it adds strength and thermal qualities to the home.”
As Platinum moves throughout the country, it continues to establish relationships with Firth branches and their RibRaft® floor contractors. The RibRaft® system works within Platinum Homes’ building programme in terms of speed as well.
“It’s a quick, efficient system that adds strength to the home, giving earthquake resistance. That makes us feel very confident,” says Jim.
