Architectural Masonry 10 Series
Let your creativity run wild with the beauty, flexibility and durability of Firth’s 10 Series Architectural Masonry range which is suitable for non-structural features. Chose the popular 190mm high or 90mm high blocks to create and personalise a design feature which incorporates different face texture options, honed or fair face.
Ensure your contractor is familiar with the Firth Architectural Masonry Best Practice guide prior to construction.
Note: Our blocks/masonry products are made in NZ with locally sourced natural materials and as such colour variation between regions is expected.
If honing natural grey masonry, there may be medium to extreme degrees of colour and exposed texture variation between blocks which will appear throughout the finished wall. We recommend using Firth’s Architectural Masonry which has been specifically designed to be honed or polished to achieve colour tone consistency across the wall.

Onyx
Honed finish
A smooth ground finish with some pitting, exposing the aggregate and the mix beneath.
Honing the blocks can really create a stylish effect (or will transform your wall into a granite look) and can be utilised in both exterior and interior situations. All Honed Architectural Masonry used in external applications must be sealed.
Weathertightness & Sealing
We recommend sealing all Architectural Masonry. Sealers used must now comply with the CCANZ CP01.2014 code of practice and in most cases, the sealer should only be applied by a licensed applicator.
