  1. Art and concrete combine

After 4 years the new student services building at the University of Waikato is now finished - officially opened by Prime Minister, John Key in November last year. The project is the first educational building in New Zealand to attain the 5-star green design rating.

  2. A great working relationship the foundation for success at Stonefields

The new urban township of Stonefields, Auckland’s newest city fringe suburb, was established on the 110 hectare site of the former Winstone quarry at Mt Wellington just 8kms from Auckland’s CBD, and will eventually house 6,500 residents in 2,900 dwellings. It includes a 500 pupil primary school, a town centre and nine neighbourhood parks, including a wetland.

  3. Firth passes the baton for Transpower

Firth’s extensive national network of plants has been a contributing factor to the successful ongoing work of the pylon-strengthening project on Transpower’s network in the South Island for Transfield Services.

  4. Proximity and technical expertise a must

In 2013, 1100 ASB bank staff will leave their Albert St tower and head west to the water where a new building is being constructed on the corner of Jellicoe and Halsey Streets on the North Wharf in Auckland’s ‘Tank Farm’.
