When the Waiuku Estuary Village and Rest Home were looking to extend their facility their architect designed the new wing to ensure it would blend in beautifully with the old by once again using Firth’s tried and true Pioneer bricks.

Firth products featured in Signature show home
Karaka Harbourside Estate is a new housing estate just 25 minutes south of Auckland’s CBD and is the location for a new show home from Signature Homes featuring a range of Firth’s products.

Co-ordination, timing and expertise required at Bunnythorpe
In April Firth coordinated and supplied approximately 850m3 of concrete in one night for the base of five new transformers for Transpower's substation at Bunnythorpe. New paver range protects the environment
Firth’s new permeable paver range is about to be launched to the market. Permeable pavements are an alternative paving solution to traditional pavers and concrete. Storm water is able to permeate the paver (or its surrounds) which can significantly reduce peak water flow during storms. Storm water run off from traditional pavers and driveways can cause storm water systems to be overloaded in heavy downpours.

Supply contract signed for another five years
The supply agreement with John Fillmore Contracting, which Firth first won in 2009, was re-signed at the beginning of June for a further five years.

Smooth as glass
The new Bunnings Warehouse on the corner of Archers and Wairau roads in Glenfield is all but complete with racking installation underway and the grand opening to the public scheduled for mid August.
