Element Magazine September 2011

  1. Firth Manorstone® proves its point

When Karen and Alan Rutherford decided to build a new five-bedroom home on their life-style block in Prebbleton, Canterbury they considered a variety of cladding options in different colours to adorn their new home

  2. RibRaft EQ® - Future proofing Christchurch homes

Christchurch's 'Re-build' is gaining momentum with increasing numbers of earthquake affected homeowners being notified that they can proceed with the repair or rebuild of their homes.

  3. Quake Foam in action at Te Koraha

The earthquakes of 2010/11 have resulted in the unprecedented loss of many of Christchurch’s registered heritage buildings due to severe damage. Te Koraha, the old Rhodes Homestead and original school building at Rangi Ruru in Merivale, was one of the fortunate ones. Though subjected to liquefaction and damage to the basement, with the help of Firth’s Quake Foam and the team at Fletcher Construction, Te Koraha is on the road to becoming sound once again.

  4. Firth builds for Re-build

A year on from the first of the devastating earthquakes that shook the city and after much heartache for many, the people of Christchurch are getting on with the job of rebuilding their city and so are the team at Firth Christchurch.
