CONTRACTORS

Firth has a duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 to do all that is reasonably practicable to ensure the safety of its contractors whilst engaged by Firth to perform tasks for our benefit. Firth recognises that significant risk may occur without a systematic approach to contractor health, safety and environmental management.

It is essential that both Firth and the engaged contractor consult, co-operate with, and co-ordinate activities throughout the term of the contract so we are comfortable that risk on both sides is managed.

Prequalification Process

Firth’s Prequalification system requires you to complete the prequalification form with all your company details and HSE related activity. Once submitted, this gets sent through to the Regional Area Operations Manager and Regional HSE Advisor for review. When this is approved, an automatic email will send you the link to complete our online induction. Please check your spam/junk folder in case it automatically gets filtered there. If you have any concerns or technical issues please get in touch with your Firth contact.

You may work on our site ONCE you have completed the Online Induction and the Site Leader has organised a site specific induction with you and your team.
