The Block, ThreeNow’s hit reality TV show, played again this year on New Zealand’s screens and, for the sixth year running, Firth’s products were featured prominently in the four brand new townhouses, built from the ground up in the Auckland suburb of Northcote.

The popular DIY show followed the progress of four couples as they competed against each other by completing challenges whilst renovating and designing houses to sell at auction.

“We have been very happy and excited to be involved with the show right from the beginning – six years ago,” says Lyn Kehely, Product Marketing Manager for Firth. “This year we supplied a variety of products, as we have over the years, that were used during filming. It’s a great opportunity for us to showcase our range and let the audience see how versatile our product range is.”

Firth also offered the guidance of Stu Girvan, Technical and Specifications Advisor, who was on hand throughout the project to offer advice and assistance to the contestants and help them achieve the best results possible for the outdoor living spaces.

Firth supplied Designer Paving, Designer Focus Bricks, Grey Masonry and Certified Concrete® for the four new townhouses.

“Our Designer Paving range has featured in three of the four homes to stunning affect,” adds Lyn.
