The Blocka System

The Blocka System by GroutStoppers is a reusable alternative to traditional timber boxing for block fill washouts. It reduces reliance on disposable timber, removes the need for cutting and drilling, and helps minimise tool‑related risks on site. Blocka also reduces silica dust exposure by eliminating the need to drill into masonry and helps speed up setup and stripping, supporting safer and more consistent handling during block fill preparation.

Now available nationally through Firth.

Why Choose Blocka?

Cuts material and labour costs

BLOCKA plates are reusable up to 52 times, reducing spend on timber and consumables.
Each box of 20 plates replaces around 8 I/m of timber boxing.

No tools, no drilling, no batteries

BLOCKA needs no screws, no fixings, and no drill bits, saving time and avoiding on-site hassle.
No charging batteries or carrying extra tools around.

Faster, cleaner set up

Two BLOCKA Ties loop around the reinforcing and pull tight with the cable tensioner.
Builders get a secure seal in a fraction of the time compared to building timber boxing.

Secure & tested to stop blowouts

When installed correctly, BLOCKA prevents porthole leaks and block fill blowouts.
Instructions are simple and repeatable, making quality consistent.

Reduces waste on every job

No more piles of timber offcuts.
Plates can be cleaned and reused, supporting cleaner, less cluttered worksites.

Improves onsite safety

Removing cutting, drilling, and fixings reduces tool‑related injuries and silica dust exposure, helping create safer work conditions.
